As most of you know, we have a local Science-Fiction/Fantasy convention, called Sci-Fi On the Rock. It started last year with a one-day event, and this year has graduated to two.
It's this weekend!! Saturday, April 19th, and Sunday, April 20th, at the Holiday Inn in St. John's (on Portugal Cove Road). The doors open at 9am on both mornings, and runs until 6pm. Tickets are $10 per day, or $18 for a weekend pass.
We'll be there with a table, with details about the Summer Semester, and also a few sneak peeks of what we'll be showing. Also, all of the executive will be in costume, so drop by and see what we've cooked up! (Personally, I'll be wearing four different costumes over the course of the convention, so come check them out!)
If that isn't enough reason, Mae and I are also doing a Cosplay workshop, going through the process of how we come up with these costumes and answering any questions you have. We'll be in the Roddenberry Room at 12pm on Saturday! You should come!!

Also, Society T-Shirts will be ordered following the convention, assuming that we have 24 items ordered. Currently we have 8 or 9. We'll have all the details about the orders there, so drop in and take a look, before we either a) make the order or b) give everyone's money back!! Please let it be the first, not the second!
