Halloween Showing!

Hey Everyone!

It's that time of year again...Halloween! In honor of the event, we'll be having a Halloween-themed night this Friday (November 2nd), from 7:30 on in A-1046. So, this means scary anime, costumes, and maybe even some candy! We'll also be drawing for our Member's Choice Showing Night, which is November 16th. Coming in costume will earn you an extra chance! (There will also be a costume contest, so you might want to come as something. Yourself is not considered to be a costume.)

We're screening...

The Cowboy Bebop Movie: Knockin' on Heaven's Door

As the Cowboy Bebop crew travels the stars, they learn of the largest bounty yet offered, 300 million oolong. Apparently, someone is wielding an incredibly powerful chemical weapon, and the authorities are at a loss to stop it. The war to take down the most dangerous criminal yet forces the crew to face a true madman, with bare hope to succeed.

Elfen Lied

The Diclonius are mutated homo sapiens, said to be selected by God to eventually become the destruction of mankind. They possess two horns in their heads, and have a "sixth sense" which gives telekinetic abilities. Due to this dangerous power, they have been captured and isolated in laboratories by the government. Lucy, a young and psychotic Diclonius, manages to break free of her confines and brutally murders most of the guards in the laboratory, only to get shot in the head as she makes her escape. She survives and drifts along to a beach, where two teenagers, Kouta and Yuka, discover her. Having lost her memories, they named her after the only thing that she can now say - "Nyuu" - and the two allow her to stay at Kouta's home. However, it appears that the evil "Lucy" is not dead just yet...

REMINDERS: We need new Executive members. Please come forward and e-mail us with why you'd like to join us.

Having not yet made a decision on a new logo, we are still accepting designs.

This showing is rated 16+, for violence and mature subject matter.

We hope to see you there (in costume)!
